PP Multifilament Yarn

PP Multifilament Yarn

Introduction

PP Multifilament fabrics, comprising yarns made of more than one textile strand, excel by their outstanding strength and versatility. These are available in various bright and attractive colours and can be customized as per customer requirements. PP multifilament yarn is easy to clean, long-lasting, and widely used in different kinds of applications.

PP Multifilament yarn can be:

  • Twisted From 600 Denier to 3600 Denier
  • Untwisted From 600 to 3600 Denier
  • Intermingled

PP Multifilament yarn comes in Bobbin sizes from 1.5 kg to 5 kg. These yarns can be used for stitching geotextile fabrics, FIBC bags, woven or non-woven sacks/bags, etc.

  • Water-Safe and Floatable:Due to its exceptional water resistance, this yarn floats on water surfaces and keeps water from absorbing into it.
  • High Strength and Abrasion Resistance:The yarn exhibits remarkable strength and abrasion resistance, guaranteeing sturdiness in harsh settings. Better Cohesion Excellent bunching ability of PP Multifilament Yarn enables safe and efficient assembly in a variety of applications.
  • UV Radiation Resistance:This yarn is appropriate for outdoor and exposed applications since it is resistant to the damaging effects of UV radiation.
  • Chemical Resistance:The yarn is resistant to chemicals and can be used in a variety of chemical situations without losing its integrity.
  • Outstanding Insulation:The yarn's exceptional insulation qualities make it a good choice for applications that need to insulate against thermal and electrical influences.
  • Precision Manufacturing:The rope is assembled from ultra-thin strands as thin as 0.05mm by using state-of-the-art precision extrusion technologies, which give the yarn its smooth and flexible texture.
  • Energy Retention and Shock Resistance:PP Multifilament Yarn has outstanding shock resistance, deformation recovery capabilities, and energy retention.
  • Buoyancy and Chemical Resistance:This synthetic fiber rope floats on water, is extremely resistant to solvents, acids, alkaline chemicals, and oils, and is the lightest among all of them.

The raw materials (granules), which are positioned close to the barrel, are the first step in the manufacturing process. The barrel is filled with these raw materials. Subsequently, these substances undergo intense heating, causing the granules to become liquid. The melted material is now sent through a melt pump/screen changer in a different section of the machine. The material is then allowed to cool. Many fibers join together to form a multifilament yarn during the process, and the remaining steps can be completed with a little manual assistance.

The two main ingredients required to make multifilament yarn are polypropylene granules and master batch.

We constantly strive to find the extraordinary, and in some way, we succeed in doing so. About our expertise in producing multifilament yarn, we can provide our clients with a denier strength of 6 GPD (for natural yarn), something that many of our rivals do not even consider. We also produce threads in 22 various hues, which further demonstrates our distinctive methodology.

Multifilament Yarns are an integral component of the bags, used in stitching and other procedures. Up to 90 tons of multifilament yarn can be produced by us each month.

At SPL, we are aware of the true significance of multifilament yarn. We choose to use the latest technology available in this sector for this reason, and we are really proud of the services we provide to the industry now.
