Several essential procedures are involved in the production of block bottom bags. The process starts with the machine being loaded with a tubular roll of laminated, printed woven cloth. The cloth is initially trimmed to the bag cut length as it goes through the machine. Next, one side of the fabric is folded over the other at the end(s) of the bag, and pressure and heat are used to seal the cloth hermetically (airtight). To create a rectangular strip to overlap the bag's tight end(s), another roll unwinds itself. We refer to this procedure as patching. The patch is specified in size and is made of the same material as the bag. As the patch is being applied, the valve is being created, and bags come out at the last step.
Woven fabric that has been coated and printed is mostly used to make PP Woven Block Bottom Bags. Conversely, woven cloth that has been printed and laminated with BOPP is used to create BOPP laminated Block Bottom bags.
At SPL, we also provide excellent flexo printing options. The fact that this specific printing style may also be used on uncoated bags is its best feature. We can provide flexo printing on woven bags in up to four different colors at a very low cost of printing.
